The energy assessment itself usually takes around one hour and we will usually require someone to be present during that time.
To achieve an accurate assessment we will require access to all rooms including loft areas and visual sighting of your water and heating facilities.
Payment is required upon completion of the assessment and if applicable, funds must be cleared before a certificate can be produced. Alternative terms are available by prior arrangement only.
Your certificate will usually be posted out to you within a couple of days the assessment being carried out.
No fee will be charged if you choose to cancel the appointment as long as at least 12hrs notice is given. Cancellation within 12hrs of the agreed appointment time will incur a cancellation fee equal to 15% of the quoted price.
If access to the property cannot be made at the agreed time and the assessment cannot therefore take place, then we reserve the right to charge a fee equal to 30% of the quoted price.
